Removal requests

Teachers, centers, and anyone heard in a recording can request that talks or segments be removed from Sutam. This applies to the website, the search index, the API, the apps, the data archive, and any public copies.

Our commitment: We acknowledge requests within 2 days and complete removals within 7 days across all platforms.

What can be removed:

• A complete talk (opt-out by the teacher)
• A single segment or question (for example, if a student asks to be anonymized)
• Personal information (if your name or contact was published in error)

To request a removal: Send an email to hello@sutam.org with:

• The talk URL or ID
• The specific segment or time range (if partial)
• Your relationship to the talk (teacher, center, speaker, etc.)
• The reason for removal

We will verify the request and process it confidentially. Student questions removed from transcripts will be replaced with a note that they have been removed at the speaker's request.
